VALLEY ARCADE / PLATFORM UPDATE
A new Valley Arcade experience is here.
This week, we rolled out one of the biggest updates to Valley Arcade yet.
This wasn’t just a visual refresh. We rebuilt major parts of the Valley experience to make it easier to play, compete, earn, manage your account, discover games, and connect the physical arcade experience with the Valley platform.
Valley has a new look, a completely updated player dashboard with new options, expanded tournament tools, in-cabinet Gamer Rewards upgrades, improved venue functionality, and a stronger foundation layer for everything we’re building next.
Discover more games. Find more ways to play.
The new Valley experience makes it much easier to see what’s happening across the arcade.
Players can now explore our redesigned Game Library, discover games that are playable today, preview what’s coming next, and find instructions through our new How to Play pages.
We’ve also made the basic play experience clearer. You can see how many Valley Tickets are required to play a game before you jump in, making it easier to understand your balance, what a play costs, and how your activity connects across Valley.
Tournament discovery has also been rebuilt.
You can browse upcoming, active, and completed tournaments, see weekly and sponsored leaderboards, and now find your own ranking even when your score falls outside the scores currently displayed on the page.
Whether you’re chasing the top spot or just trying to beat your last run, your Valley experience is much easier to follow.
Your Valley account, rebuilt
Your account dashboard is now the home base for your activity across Valley.
Players can:
- View recent gameplay activity
- See earned badges
- Review Valley Ticket history
- Check their Valley Tickets balance
- Send Valley Tickets to another player
- Create links requesting Valley Tickets
- Review transfer history
- Manage usernames, connected Ethereum addresses, and play preferences
Registered Node Owners also now have a dedicated Node Owner area where they can view their nodes and recorded benefits.
Introducing Gamer Rewards
One of the biggest additions is our new Gamer Rewards system.
Players can now earn Gamer Rewards through eligible play on Valley arcade cabinets and redeem those rewards at participating venues.
Gamer Rewards are displayed as points, giving players a simple way to see what they’ve earned through play without having to translate small reward amounts into dollars.
When you request a redemption, the venue receives the request and can approve it using your confirmation code.
You can follow the entire process from your account, including pending, approved, denied, and expired requests.
Rewards are reserved while a redemption is pending and only leave your balance once the venue approves the request. If a request is denied or expires, those points are released back to you.
Gamer Rewards and Valley Tickets are two separate systems and two separate balances.
Valley Tickets are what you use throughout the Valley ecosystem, including playing eligible games. Gamer Rewards are points earned through qualifying real-world arcade play that can be redeemed through participating venues.
We know that distinction is important, so part of this update has been making it much clearer throughout the platform what you have, what it does, and where it can be used.
Better tools for Valley venues
This update also significantly expands the tools available to the venues running Valley cabinets.
Depending on their access level, venue teams can now:
- View their venues and connected cabinets
- Manage venue information and settings
- Add and manage staff access
- Create and manage tournaments
- Review Gamer Rewards redemption requests
- Approve player redemptions
- View venue reporting
- Export reporting data
- Review activity across multiple locations
That means Valley is becoming easier not only for players to use, but also for the businesses operating the physical arcade network.
We’re also continuing to improve the experience around the cabinets themselves, with clearer How to Play information and onboarding designed to make it easy for someone to walk up to a Valley cabinet and understand what to do.
A better experience everywhere
A lot of this update is visible immediately, but we also focused on hundreds of smaller details that make Valley easier to use.
Navigation has been improved across mobile devices. Sign-in flows now return you to the place you were trying to reach. Loading, empty, and error states are clearer, so you know what is happening when information is unavailable.
We’ve also strengthened protections around actions like Valley Ticket transfers and tournament entries to help prevent accidental duplicate transactions.
And we’re not finished with the look just yet.
This release is the beginning of the new Valley experience, not the end of the design process.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll continue refining the visual design, tightening the interface, improving mobile behavior, and honing how everything feels across the website, player accounts, venues, and cabinets.
The new design system we built also means we can make those improvements much faster and keep the Valley experience more consistent as we add new features.
So if you notice things moving, changing, or getting a little more polished over the coming weeks, that’s intentional.
Built for what comes next
Some of the most important work in this release is technology you won’t necessarily see on the screen.
Behind the scenes, we rebuilt major parts of Valley’s infrastructure, financial systems, transaction processing, venue permissions, reporting, security, and deployment architecture.
This was a foundational rebuild of the platform, not simply a redesign.
That work gives us a much stronger platform for adding games, cabinets, venues, tournaments, rewards, player features, and future Valley experiences much faster.
We now have a scalable design system for rapidly building new interfaces, a more robust accounting and transaction architecture, stronger protections around player balances and venue access, and infrastructure designed to support a much larger Valley network.
This week’s release represents a major step toward the platform we’ve always intended Valley to become:
A connected arcade network where real-world play, competition, community, rewards, and ownership all live together.
And we’re only getting started.
Found something weird?
This was a huge update touching a lot of Valley, and while we’ve tested extensively, there may still be a few bugs hiding in the arcade.
If something doesn’t seem right, you can first check our live status page at:
If you’ve found a bug, please report it to us at [email protected] or tag @mazzle in our Discord.
Screenshots, details about what you were doing, and what device you were using are always helpful.
Thanks for playing, testing, breaking things, competing, and helping us build Valley.
See you in the Valley.
